Leading the charge were Minakshi Hooda, Preeti Pawar, Priya Malik and Arundhati Choudhary, who were crowned Asian champions in their respective weight categories.

Minakshi Hooda (48kg)

World champion Minakshi Hooda defeated Mongolia’s Nomundari Enkh-Amgalan via a dominant 5-0 unanimous decision, adding the Asian title to her resume.

Preeti Pawar (54kg)

Preeti Pawar beat Chinese Taipei’s Huang Hsiao-wen — a former world champion — with a clinical 5-0 victory.

Priya Ghanghas (60kg)

Priya Ghanghas showcased tactical brilliance to defeat DPR Korea’s Won Un-gyong 3-0 in the final.

Arundhati Choudhary (70kg)

Arundhati Choudhary secured India’s fourth gold medal with a 4-1 win over Kazakhstan’s Bakyt Seidish.
